Tracy Anderson: Strong is the New Sexy

Thursday, April 30th, 2015

I’d heard of Tracy Anderson, of course. And I knew she had a loyal following, ranging from women friends of mine to celebrity clients like Lena Dunham and Julianne Hough, to her business partner in crime Gwyneth. And once I got to sit down with Tracy for the May 2015 issue of Health magazine, I finally get it.

No kidding that she has such devoted followers! And now that I’ve started doing her workouts myself, I count myself as one of them.

Granted, I still can’t get through one of her workouts without resting (like, eleven times) but this being bathing suit season and all, I’m going to keep trying. Read my interview with Tracy Anderson on the Health site. And then get moving.

Talking Weddings with Adorably Gorgeous Fashion Star Jamie Chung

Tuesday, April 14th, 2015

I had a new kind of topic to delve into recently: weddings, for the New York Post ALEXA Weddings issue.

And I couldn’t have been luckier with the first celebrity to grace its cover: Jamie Chung. Actress. Fashion maven (you must check out her site whatthechung.com, which will make you drool). Cool-ass woman. And fiancé for just a little bit longer, until she marries fellow actor Bryan Greenberg this fall. (I’m counting the days until their film It’s Already Tomorrow in Hong Kong is released.)

My Chat with the Kingslayer “Jaime Lannister” from Game of Thrones

Tuesday, April 14th, 2015

Here’s my latest interview for the New York Post ALEXA fashion special: A sit-down with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister on Game of Thrones.

The actor was a profoundly nice guy who shared a bit about his shy, awkward days growing up on a small island south of Denmark, his wife and kids, and the writing of his own he is doing now. Check out the Nikolaj Coster-Waldau New York Post interview to read it in full.

The show just premiered it’s fifth season on HBO. Here’s hoping his character will last the season without being stabbed, sliced, shot with an arrow, or—oof, burned at the stake—like so many before him.
